Vancouver, BC - The Vancouver School Board (VSB) and Langara College announced this morning their plans to integrate the VSB’s Continuing Education program into Langara Continuing Studies. Under the agreement, Langara will assume the marketing, administration, and registration roles for 200 courses previously offered by VSB, and gain access to VSB facilities for course programming.
Starting fall, 2014, the combined offerings of the two institutions will total nearly 800 courses available in six locations, including both Langara campuses and four venues managed by the VSB.
“We are very pleased to add the breadth of VSB courses to our programming,” says Langara President and CEO Dr. Lane Trotter. “Langara is always looking for ways to more fully serve the community, and with this agreement we become an even larger provider of life-long learning opportunities in the Lower Mainland.”
